Zadkiel led a great flock of angels into battle. The balance of the Heavens had been upset by the humans who had eaten the fruit from the Tree of Knowledge and the Tree of Life in Paradise. Many demons had taken advantage of this and were trying to invade the Heavens. Though the sins of humans weighed on Zadkiel's mind, he decided that he must first defend the heavens from the invaders.
