The dreaded Yamata-no-Orochi, bringer of disaster, was sealed within a divine mountain. However, over the course of a thousand years, the indignation from captivity accumulated within him. Such immense wrath could no longer be restrained by the blessed fetters, and it did not calm even after he incinerated the entire world. His eight heads were free to slaughter without cease.
