Lore[edit | edit source]
Ranbart was a king without dominion. His subjects were a nomadic people, traversing the snowy peaks and living off what little they could forage. A certain custom set this tribe apart from others: each newborn was gifted a black wolf as their lifelong companion, to live and die as they did. This enabled them to become one with nature in a way that the denizens of other realms could only dream of. It was no wonder, then, that Ranbart was feared across the land as the "Monarch of the Mountains."
