Julia the Rose Fairy

Lore[]

It is said that humans have a tradition of giving roses to the ones they love, but few knows just how that tradition came about. A tiny fairy dwells within each rose. These fairies use their love to bring two people's hearts together and entrust their love to each other. That is how the rose tradition began.

Name origin[]

Julia is an English, German, Polish, Portuguese, and Spanish feminine name of Latin origin; the meaning "dedicated to Jupiter, Jupiter's child, downy". It is a Latinate feminine form of the name Julius. Julius was a Roman family, derived from a founder Julus, the son of Aeneas and Creusa in Roman mythology, although the name's etymology may possibly derive from Greek ἴουλος (ioulos) "downy-haired, downy-bearded" or alternatively from the name of the Roman god Jupiter.
