When the curious elf Sora visited the sacred shrine that housed countless ancient swords, she discovered within one particularly beautiful blade that struck her fancy. Why she chose this particular one out of the many dazzling weapons available, she could not say. It was just "instinct." The moment she swung the sword, a sprite appeared out of thin air. "Please, free me from this prison," it beseeched Sora. But the elf knew not what to do.

Name origin[]
Sora is a unisex Japanese given name meaning "sky". A Fairy Swordself refers to how she is a swordsman of the Elvish race and her sword possesses the spirit of a fairy.
