Runia loved all creatures great and small, perhaps due to her natural gentleness. Animals of every variety would gather around her as if by magic wherever she went. Wishing to do everything possible for their sake, she swore her life to their protection and welfare, traveling any length necessary to save a beast in need. It was her life's calling, for she felt no greater joy than when surrounded by fur and feathers.
