Beware the twisted maze of grottos in the northern seas. There the Rime Crocodilian lies in wait to attack lost travelers and wayward Cryptids. Smart as humans and capable of using weapons and tools, the crocodilians grew unsatisfied with hiding in their ocean grotto. Their territory now stretches above ground and through the icy north seas.

Rime is an accumulation of granular ice tufts on the windward sides of exposed objects that is formed from supercooled fog or cloud and built out directly against the wind.
