On a dark and stormy night at sea, the legendary Captain Kidd, former tyrant of the seas, awoke aboard his black ship. He gave thanks to the god that had granted him a second life and another chance to fulfill his ultimate ambition. He would create a ruthless pirate empire, controlling every nation on land from his floating vessel with an iron fist.

William Kidd (1654-1701) was a Scottish ship’s captain, privateer and either one of the most notorious pirates in history of the world or one of its most unjustly vilified and prosecuted privateers. He was convicted and hanged in England after a sensational trial.
