When he raised his voice in objection to the corrupt local government, Renault stirred a rebellion for and by the people. And, while few troops rallied behind him, his strength alone was enough for the coup to be successful. A new kingdom was born, and it seemed like all had changed for the better when a new discontented voice rose amongst the populace. Someone had to take responsibility for the bloodshed, and it was all too clear that it was Renault who would be made into the sacrificial lamb.
