Euphemia, guided by the voices of the gods, has come upon a distressed town exploited by corrupt officials and ravaged by plagues. Expounding upon the death and despair, the unforgiving assault from a neighboring country has the houses up in flames. The citizenry have all but given up hope. Holding the still body of a young boy in her arms, determination ignites in Euphemia's heart. She must make a stand and fight back.
