The merchant had promised Hendros the potion would give him untold strength, and, after he had drunk, the potion did give him powers beyond the norm. However, it also twisted his body into a shape as hideous as the power he wielded. Now he searched desperately for the antidote, something that would return him to normalcy. He cared not whose lives he affected; he would do whatever was necessary to change back.
