An enormous egg slept in a secluded corner of the dark realm. Although among the first clutch birthed by the dragon gods, the embryo broke and so it rested in silence for eons. However, as the foul rains washed over it, a disastrous miracle occurred. The first cries of calamity emerged from the shell and the warped creature Hyr'k burst forth.
