Aither, in his quest for ultimate power, has subjugated the Black Dragon, master of the night. Now his loyal servant, the dragon has given Aither the power to summon an army of the undead, but only when the sky is pitch black. Putting faith in his newfound ability, he has prepared himself to bid farewell to ever seeing the sun again.
In Greek mythology, Aether (Æthere, Ancient Greek: Αἰθήρ, pronounced [ajtʰɛ̌ːr]) or Aither, also known as Acmon, is one of the primordial deities, the first-born elementals. His name means "light" in ancient Greek. Aether is the personification and elemental god of "the bright, glowing upper air of heaven - the substance of light". He embodies the pure upper air that the gods breathe, as opposed to the normal air (Ἀήρ, aer) breathed by mortals. Like Tartarusand Erebus, Aether may have had shrines in Hella, but he had no temples, and it is unlikely that he had a cult.
