Name OriginEdit

In Greek mythologyAether (ÆthereAncient Greek: Αἰθήρ, pronounced [ajtʰɛ̌ːr]) or Aither, also known as Acmon, is one of the primordial deities, the first-born elementals. His name means "light" in ancient Greek.[1] Aether is the personification and elemental god of "the bright, glowing upper air of heaven - the substance of light".[1] He embodies the pure upper air that the gods breathe, as opposed to the normal air (Ἀήρaer) breathed by mortals. Like Tartarusand Erebus, Aether may have had shrines in Hella, but he had no temples, and it is unlikely that he had a cult.
