Mordia, Cursed Sculpture

The elegant temple was a popular tourist attraction, and many people flocked to see the abstract statue of a woman situated in the rear. They would pile offerings at its base, although few were aware of the reason why. Many believed they would receive a blessing of some sort, yet nothing could be further from the truth. Rather, if the offerings were to cease, then Mordia, sealed within the statue, would wreak havoc.
