Mirs was amazed that such a fierce blaze could come from such a small creature. She had found the dragon on display in a cage. The instant she saw him, she knew she must set him free. The poor creature had been captured by humans and forced to live life in captivity. He reminded Mirs of herself, the cursed girl who was abandoned by her family after accidentally setting everything ablaze.
