Sorry, but you're the only person I know to contact. I recently posted on Guild Recruit page and for some reason my background is dark brown and my message doesn't fit like everyone else's. What am I doing wrong, can you help fix this ?
The wikia has a special wikitext and rules; when you started a new paragraph you put a space at the beginning and got a brown table. I fixed this, but you can simply reedit your post to make it look as you want.
Ok, thank you for your knowledge and help with my mistakes. I'm learning as we go, but plan on being an asset to this site , someday. I should schedule a mentor time , but have been playing LOC so much lately. Thank you again !!!!
I have an image for Undefeated General Urdo, which I have tried to upload to the page for that card (fire rare). However, I can't get it to show up in the correct location. It keeps placing the image with the text at the bottom instead of replacing the image place-holder in the table at the top. I'm sure this is something I am doing wrong, but after reading through the explanations for uploading images etc, I still can't figure it out. Where should I go to find out about this?
I have joined so I can become an active part of the community, and feel embarrassed that I am off to a poor start. My apologies for the inconvenience and thanks for your time.
Thanks for all your contributions, this page is my HQ for checking out LoC cards for over a year now! I'm attempting to make my first page contribution, hope you or someone else could help me get it up properly.
Hi! Thanks for your response and trying to help me. I have made sure the image name is named exactly as you put between quotation marks, and it's currently in .png format. But no matter how I try to upload the image, I keep getting the file not passing verification message. I must be doing something wrong, but I can't figure out what it is.
Rather than asking you to try to help me troubleshoot, maybe I could just e-mail the image to you, so you could upload it? I hate to give up, but I've already spent a lot of time on it and don't have anymore to spare right now. Or is there a special tutorial I'm missing on how to upload an image that addresses this error I keep getting?
Do I need special permission to upload an image maybe? I'm brand new here, Engset was my first page edit, so is there a setting that's preventing me from uploading an image?
The only requirment to upload images is to be logged in. If the name and format is right uploading images is an easy thing. I never had that verification issue, only "upload warnings" if the new file had the same name as existing one. Anyway the is "More options" bar when you try to upload image, if you click on it it will show an "Ignore any warnings" line, tick off that line and maybe this will help.
Also the problem can be with the devise you use. Here is the base tutorial for uploading images.
If you have Kakao, you can send image there, same ID.
I've noticed that (Misfortune) Snake-Eyed Isissa didn't have a thumbnail image, upon adding it I cannot find a way to link it with Isissa's entry in the Water Rare Ex list. I thought it'd be automatically added, however it didn't, would you lend a hand in this matter?
Hello! Thumb images have their own rules as templates must recognize them to add automatically. Thumb images must be in .jpg fromat with the same name as the card it is for, with the word "thumb" added to the end (with a space).
For example, Isissa thumb image must be "(Misfortune) Snake-Eyed Isissa thumb.jpg".
Thanks for the reply. It appears that the problem in this case is the files name (Misfortune) Snake-Eyed Isissa_thumbnail, which, at least from my(greenhorn's) perspective, would be solved by changing the file's name. Is it possible? I couldn't find an appropriate option as well as any topic with a solution to this problem on any wikia.
