Thank you. I just recently joinned the game and would like to contribute since I am enjoying it a lot. I found this wiki even before I find the actual game (it motivated me to register + log in). I think it would be interesting if more and more people would also follow my previous steps prior to the, actual, game playing and in order to encourage so I think it is very important to keep the card gallery updated and running!
I left you already a question on your wall but here's my doubt: how do I get cards from the game to a file? Do I have to printscreen? If is that so, then I am afraid I won't be of much help since I am just a new user to the game! Maybe I can message people ingame asking for printscreens, would that help?
By the way, I would like to congratulate you on the good work so far these years! I hope you won't give up and keep coming back! (:
Uploading a card is actually simpler than you think. The first step is to set up the page. This can be done by going to the front page, scrolling down to where it says "Contributing", typing in the name of the card you want to create in the box where it says "Create card page", and pressing the button.
A new page will show up, with a list of different parameter fields. Simply type in the the card's stats in the different fields (for example, type in "Fire" where it says element). After you're done, press "Publish" and the page is created. When creating an EX card, use the box where it says "Create EX card page". It's basically the same process. For more information, I suggest reading our Card Page Guidelines.
Uploading pics is a little harder, but still relatively simple. If you're using an iOS device, simply press the home and power button at the same time to capture your screen. Afterwards, crop out the card pic, and upload it to the site, making sure it's named the same as the card itself. This will ensure that it properly links to the card page. If using Android, see this page.
Let me know if anything I've said is unclear. I'll be more than glad to help walk you through it further.
I always thought that the resolution on the iPhone 4 would be enough to get the whole card, since the cards only cut off a little on a 3G, and an iPhone 4 has nearly twice the resolution. Are you sure you can't get the whole card to fit on the screen?
Also, thanks for bringing those cards to my attention. I don't have those cards, so I'll need to get them off a friend. As well, I'm pretty busy right now, and haven't had time to go through the mountain of card pages which still need pics. Hopefully I'll be able to help with those eventually.
