A once powerful archdemon written into tomes of history, Britt longed for those days of mirth when she was queen and the hours passed without a single hardship. After her king had perished in war, she and her remaining few serfs had no choice but to flee, and now even the capturing of humans to feed upon was her own responsibility. Perhaps it was that the discomfort had made her delusional. Nothing else could explain why when she had found a crying young child in a hut where she and the other survivors had set up camp, she capriciously decided to raise it as her own.
