Malista's motto had always been that life was enjoyable because it was full of surprises. That was why she abandoned the hedonistic luxury of her parent's mansion in favor of days fraught with trials. The people she encountered scorned her contemptuous father, so Malista never wanted for dangers. Just today, she was accosted by another bloodthirsty mob when she tried to get some rest. They, too, had little idea just how greatly she welcomed the challenge.
