Kronos the Unjust

The violent rage of Kronos' father grew ever more radical. Even if he was the ruler of the gods, Kronus had to put an end to his folly. He took up the scythe given to him by his late mother and plotted to usurp the throne. He crept ever closer to his sleeping father, his pent-up anger giving him a form more frightful than any demon.

Name OriginEdit

Cronus or both Cronos and Kronos was in Greek mythology the leader and the youngest of the first generation of Titans, the divine descendants of Uranus, the sky and Gaia, the earth. Cronus was usually depicted with the harpe and a sickle. His sister Rhea (known as "the mother of gods") is also his wife, they had six children: Hestia, Hades, Demeter, Poseidon, Hera, and Zeus. He swallowed his children as soon as they were born, exept Zeus, who was hidden and replaced by a rock. He overthrew his father and ruled during the mythological Golden Age, until he was overthrown by his own son Zeus and imprisoned in Tartarus.
