Joan, Weaver of Mortality

Lore[]

Joan surveyed the raging battle from the safety of the castle ramparts. The dire winds carried the scent of blood and decay, bringing a grave expression to her lovely face. She desired to save as many lives as possible, and so produced a curse needle she had received from entering a demon's pact. Pricking her finger with its tip, what emerged from the wound was not a crimson liquid, but a golden thread; its sparkling material represented her very life.
