Even in his youth, Scar had an inexplicable desire for violence. He ever hungered for a warzone full of greater perils, with even stronger foes, and over time his body became a chronicle of his savagery. A deep gash ran through his left eye and his left hand was held to his arm with an iron brace. But no matter how great the injury, Scar was unable to stop fighting. For only in those moments of violence, when death was nearest, could he feel life's true vigor.
