A host of chimera gathered atop an icy hill overlooking the castle. At their helm was Ingval, a malevolent spellsword who wielded ancient magicks to ensorcel the monstrosities. He had hoped this would be the perfect opportunity to test his new creations, but the frail soldiers facing him would make pitiful test subjects. His beasts must have felt so as well, judging from their disgruntled snorting. Ingval stroked their necks, his lips curling into a twisted grin.
