No sooner had Waltraud learned the definition of the word than she had decided to become and assassin. Her foolish parents had reared her in a town swarming with criminals and lowlifes, which quickly required her learning how to support herself on the backs of others. She trained in the killing arts every waking moment, regardless of how arcane or mystic they were. Before long, she found others gathering around her, desiring to learn her ways. Sympathizing with their oppressed positions, she cared for each in turn.
