The Bloodstone Mages practiced a famous school of magic by manipulating their namesake gems, and they lived by but a single edict, "Magic shall not be used for earthly gains, only to better the caster." While simple, it was a law revered with the gravest significance by the school's leaders. Gilgadol was one such leader, elected at an early age for his tremendous talent. Since his election, he had cast judgment upon many such violators, always believing his way to be that of utmost justice.
