From Underneath The Ice is an Odyssey Event, and the eighth in the series, originally set to begin in iOS servers January 17, 2013 at 8:00 PM (PST), and end on January 24, 2013 at 7:59 PM (PST). It was later postponed and rescheduled to begin on January 19, 2013 at 12:00 AM (PST), and end on January 24, 2013 at 7:59 PM (PST).
Story[]
The northern seas freeze over at this time of year. Its protector, the Ice Prince Aegir sends out a messenger bearing a plea for assistance.
His wife, Ran, has suddenly become unable to go underwater.
Formerly a mermaid who lived in the frozen ocean, she took on a human form to live together with Aegir, protecting the underwater realm together as gods. Yvette cocked her head in confusion,
"Why would an underwater guardian not be able to dive in all of a sudden?"
Aegir's messenger desperately explained the situation. Once Ran became unable to go underwater, the northern seas began to teem with monsters.
According to an old motherly sage, it would be possible to cure of her illness by collecting precious Flame Stones found in icebergs and ice floes.
However, Aegir had his hands full merely trying to keep the monsters under control.
"Helping a loving couple sounds like the heroic thing to do!!" Yvette making their decision for them, the Heroes set their sights on the frozen north.
