Of course, any assassin who has abandoned their role will surely be followed by their past. Genette was no exception: Since that night, countless attempts had been made on her life. But none were a match for her prodigious skill. Genette's life of killing continued, yet she continued to tell herself she would be free of it, "Someday, someday." She had to, or else se would assuredly lose her will to live.
