Changes: Events

Events are special campaigns which players may participate and take part in through a variety of different ways. The requirements and commitments for each event varies depending on the type of event. Competition against other players is usually required, and at the conclusion of a limited event, all players who participate are ranked against one another in performance, with rewards handed out depending on the ranking achieved. Additionally, Guilds are also ranked against one another in events, with separate rewards handed out for guild members in addition to individual rewards.

Types of events

There are three different major events:

These events are limited in nature, and usually last from a few days, to two weeks depending on the type of event.

In addition, there are also several recurring and ongoing events:

The Steam Chaos Casino event lasts for a few days and usually occurs in the intermittent period between major events. It is a recurring event which appears approximately once a month.

The Battle Masters event is an ongoing event, with rankings calculated daily and weekly based on the amount of points accrued through battles with other players.

Event Rotation

Since the release of the game, the order of has been Odyssey > Raid > Battle Royale.

However, from December 2012 we have seen this rotation: Odyssey > Raid > Odyssey > Battle Royale > Raid.
