Mímir was the captain of the titan's army in their war against the gods. However, he defected along with some of his comrades to save the mortal realm. Despite a ferocious effort, he was captured and beheaded for his treachery.

Name origin[]
Mímir (Old Norse "The rememberer, the wise one") is a figure in Norse mythology, renowned for his knowledge and wisdom, who is beheaded during the Æsir-Vanir War. Afterward, the god Odin carries around Mímir's head and it recites secret knowledge and counsel to him.
