Enlightened Jean Valjean

In the dark of the night, Jean Valjean fled through the beautiful city streets with young Cosette in his arms. The man took up his sword against the guards who sought to keep the little girl from her mother Fantine. Any vestiges of the criminal Jean Valjean had once been no longer showed on his face. All that remained was the determination to fulfill his promise to his beloved.
