The kingdom of Reithnidd rested upon a huge floating island. There lived the descendants of the legendary dragon Igrude. When the gods decided to destroy mankind for their folly long ago, he found fault in their decision and promised to save the humans. Bearing many of them upon his back, they escaped to the air and eventually settled on that very island. Thus his lineage began.
