Aegir believed it to be his duty solely to protect the north seas. Along with the frigid wind spirits, he tirelessly patrolled the icebergs, never once casting introspection upon his actions. That was until he met the graceful Ran. Once they fell in love with each other, Aegir at last realized the true meaning of his responsibility, which granted him greater power and passion in his role as defender.
