Georgio was a demon feared by all of his kind. He had a mindless tendency to consume other demons and absorb their powers into himself. Consequently, he was restrained by golden fetters and sealed for ages. Yet as time passed, an usual phenomenon began to occur: his body was absorbing the golden bonds.

Georgio is an Italian variant of English masculine name George. Derived through the Latin Georgius from Greek Γεώργιος (Geōrgios) "he who works the land", which was derived from the Greek word γεωργος (georgos) meaning "farmer, earthworker", itself derived from the elements γη (ge) "earth" and εργον (ergon) "work".
