As the wolves howl for their next meal, Mynoghra prepares to depart, the clinking of chains on stone echoing throughout the witch's otherworldly castle. Her appearance in this world is the darkest of omens, a sign that her shadow-wolves need to feed. All know to stay in their homes until she has left, for a hundred must be consumed before the demoness can retire.

Name origin[]
Mynoghra or She-Daemon of the Shadows, is a fictional deity, one of the "Great Old Ones", in the works of writer H.P. Lovecraft. A succubus-like fiend with alien traits and tentacles in place of the hair. She is mentioned as cousin of Nyarlathotep in the O’ Khymer Revelations and worshipped in witch-cults of Salem, Oregon.
