Darkquill Oracle is a Raid Event scheduled to start on February 1, 2025 at 7:00 PM (PST) and end on February 7, 2025 at 7:00 PM (PST). It is the two hundred thirteenth episode of the Dark Stigma story and hundred and seventh in the Malice Canon storyline.

Prologue[]
A range of mysterious mountains abundant in sacred energy known as the Rigir Belt intersected the northeast region. Each summit held a temple to an ancient god, and the highest among them belonged to the avian spirit Jovi. The saintess Tragmoll presently resided there, spending the days in prayer and carrying out the necessary rituals.
Among these was Jovi's Oracle. As he was a famed deity of morality, many undertook pilgrimages there to ask for his judgment. They would inquire about a person or their actions, and Tragmoll held his pure white feather aloft. If it turned black, that proved they were wicked and subject to punishment.
The reason for his popularity was apparent in how he dealt with thieves in particular. One pilgrim who belonged to a distinguished family that had their heirlooms stolen asked Tragmoll if the culprit was sinful. The feather changed to black as expected, and, although that offender fled far away, her faith-powered ability killed him where he stood.
On the other hand, another pilgrim who suffered a similar loss asked the same question. The feather remained white, justifying that bandit's actions. Despite protests she or Jovi were mistaken, it was later revealed his ancestor had originally purloined those treasures rather than obtained them rightfully.
However, over the last few years, a dark rumor about the temple spread. No matter the visitor and no matter the question, the feather always turned black. Even those who appeared perfectly innocent would receive Tragmoll's fatal punishment. Many believed something had gone awry, and some claimed the building itself emitted a terrible aura. This was not difficult to imagine, considering how most pilgrims sought not justice but vengeance.
To determine the legitimacy of Jovi's Oracle, you had been dispatched to investigate.
Epilogue[]
Disguised as pilgrims, you headed for the temple of Jovi in the Rigir mountain range to investigate Tragmoll's ritual. Reaching the peak revealed a stone structure wrapped in an ominous aura as you had been told. You boldly entered and discovered its halls already filled with monsters. That proved the sacred building was indeed defiled and Tragmoll lost her mind.
"Lord Jovi has shown me through his sacred feather that you are evil." A woman soon appeared before you, doubtlessly the priestess Tragmoll from the pitch-black feather she held. Originally belonging to Jovi, its divinity had been tainted by selfish pilgrims seeking answers that pleased themselves. This turned it into a cursed object, influencing Tragmoll as a consequence.
"His decisions are absolute. I will rectify your foul ways!" With a shout, the crazed priestess lunged towards you.

It was unclear what would happen to the shrine without its god. His presence may have vanished years ago, a major factor in driving her to embrace madness independent of the cursed feather if she noticed. This quandary occupied your mind as you descended the mountain, the answer forever lost.
Perhaps if Tragmoll, or rather, the pilgrims to the temple, had asked about their own wickedness instead of others', Jovi's feather would not have turned. Regardless, the priestess' long service to her god ended when she fell in battle against you. Never again would they harm another innocent soul.
