The vampire Edda was a gourmet on a level far above her peers. She would lay a bunch of beautiful girls out in a row and suck their blood, quickly growing tired of one and moving on to the next victim. Humans whose blood she had taken would be cast into the streets of the ashen city, where vampire hordes would seize the bodies and suck the remaining life out of them.
