"My back is so cold..." Valdov was a troll who once received a terrible wound to his back by a rogue called the "Hero." Though it was not fatal, the trauma left him constantly frightened about sustaining yet another blow from behind. The ever-present chill along his spine made his back feel "cold." Searching the forest for protection, he found a large tree stump. When he had uprooted it from the ground and placed it over his shoulders, he finally obtained some sense of relief.
