Blood-soaked Red-Hooded Girl

Lore[]

In a little house atop a hill, there lived a red-hooded witch. No one had ever seen her without the hood, but as her ears were pointed like a wolf's, rumor spread that she was the spawn of a werewolf. None of the townspeople knew for sure, but whenever there was a full moon, wolves would gather on the hilltop and listen to the hooded girl's whistling.

Name Origin[]

Little Red Riding Hood, or Little Red Ridinghood, also known as Little Red Cap or simply Red Riding Hood, is a French[1] and later European fairy tale about a young girl and a Big Bad Wolf. The story has been changed considerably in its history and subject to numerous modern adaptations and readings. The story was first published by Charles Perrault.
