Bacchus paused, as did the gargantuan demon under his command. He was dumbfounded by the creatures of darkness that had fallen so easily to the Shadow King. They had thenstirred up chaos on the world's surface in accordance with his bidding. "Do they have no pride?" he wondered. Bacchus didn't care if it meant his own death; to him, bending his knee to the Shadow King simply wasn't an option. His pride as a demon and as a warrior wouldn't allow him to bow down to others.
