At the very top of the sky-piercing tower stood a living statue of Babel himself. This symbol taunted the gods and challenged the heavens as its worshipers had once done before they were forced to flee underground. After years of bloodshed and thirsting for revenge, not to mention the cursed ritual performed within its walls every day and night, the tower gained a will of its own. The evilness declared war against the heavens. "The gods' age is at an end!"
