Gelde had fought his whole life through. He fought to protect others from the threat of evil, pillaging, and corruption. However, the relentless march of time took its toll, and his life was fast approaching an end. Anguish assaulted his mind as he lay on his deathbed, unsure if he had truly defended the welfare of his loved ones. Yet such an honored, noble soul did not escape the notice of Arina.
