Queen Grau lingers in the aftermath of a savage battle. Using force to defend her kingdom merely results in mounting losses as the strife continues. On the edge of the war-scorched plain, she happens upon the sword of one of her cherished knights. His valor in defending his allies created an opening in the enemy front lines. Yet he will never return to his home. Was his sacrifice, honorable as it may have been, truly necessary? The question echoes throughout Grau's mind, but remains unanswered.
