Amor, God of Romance


Amor, the god of love, was the younger brother of Aphrodite. He created bonds between people with his power to stoke the embers of passion. His desire was to awaken as many as possible to the sensation of love and its importance.

In classical mythology, Cupid (Latin, meaning "desire") is the god of desire, erotic love, attraction and affection. He is often portrayed as the son of the love goddess Venus and the god of war Mars. He is also known in Latin as Amor ("Love") and his Greek counterpart is Eros.
