When a summoning ritual failed partway through, the portion of the monster caught in the dimensional pocket when the rift closed would remain there. Over time, these pieces fused together into a massive terror known as Aliastan. Even in the first moments of its consciousness' formation, it despised summoners. Therefore, it was used as a last resort in conflicts against them.
