Khan clutched his injured, moaning daughter, sprinting as fast as his legs would carry him. He had barely looked away for a second, but before he knew it a monster had attacked Melia. When he managed to slay the beast, he saw that it had taken a swipe at Melia with its claws. Terrified at the thought of losing his daughter, Khan pressed on toward the village just ahead. "Daddy... it hurts... Mommy... help me..."
