Aegir is the prince of the family that defends the north seas. Together with Aegirine - familiar spirit of the North winds - they continue running over a vast expanse of icebergs. Aegir believes that it is his life's duty to protect the north seas. He carries about this duty in earnest until his first encounter with Ran where he thought there could be someone as lovely as Aegirine. The moment the prince fell in love, an iceberg fell down.
