Trudeliese is a German feminine name, a combination of Trude and Liese. Trude is a German contraction of Gertrude, Hiltrud or other names containing Germanic element þruþ meaning "strength". Liese is a German and Dutch diminutive of Elisabeth, a variant of English Elizabeth of Hebrew origin (Elisheva) meaning "my God is an oath" or perhaps "my God is abundance"
