Melo strolled through the warm sunlight, a much smaller Meldt resting on her shoulders. "You've gotten real big, haven't you?" Meldt murmured, his voice thick with emotion. "Nope, you've just gotten smaller," replied Melo, smiling playfully. Both knew their time together was rapidly melting away, yet they continued to pretend as if nothing was amiss. "Everything just keeps getting bigger and bigger..." "What'd you expect? I AM a snow 'woman,' you know!" Their banter seemed almost unnaturally ordinary... as if they were fighting against the flow of time itself.
