Miranda's image beckoned her to come through the mirror. Noticing how lonesome she seemed, she stepped forward only for a cold hand to reach out and seize her by the arm. Acting on impulse, she swung her cane at the looking glass, shattering it into a thousand dancing fragments and dispelling her reflection. Though the danger had presumably passed, she ran home in fright. However, when her panic subsided, she arrived at a startling realization: that which should have been to her left was now on her right, and vice versa. She had somehow been brought into the realm beyond the mirror...
