Lore

Chironex is a beautiful yet poisonous sprite, living in a putrid lake and able to control poison. Constantly immersed in water, she takes advantage of her enticing form to lure Cryptids and travelers into the lake. When her prey is just where she wants them, she releases a paralyzing substance.

Name Origin

Chironex is a genus of box jellyfish restricted to the central Indo-Pacific, ranging from southern Japan to northern Australia. Their stings are highly venomous, and have caused human fatalities.
